The Mix
Out of all the marketing tactics available, you need to split your time and money across the ones that will return the response on this investment. How do you get in front of your target?
The mix consists of all kinds of marketing material:
- Website
- Printed media: business cards, newsletters, brochures
- Instructional/informational Related Videos
- TV ads
- Radio ads
- Sponsorships
- Seminars, Educational or Informational
- Facebook business page
- Listings on YP, Google Places, Yelp, Angie’s List and other professional online directories
The more “educational” the less obtrusive the message. This is a personal sell and takes more time and less money. The TV or radio ads you can purchase for example, hit a wider audience, cost more money but take less time.
When everything in your “Mix” contains the same face, the same logo, and a consistent message, it is memorable and more likely to bring you results. Consistency is key – you have to keep top of mind with your message. Don’t go dark for weeks at a time, people will wonder if you are still in business.
